With the end of lockdown upon us, I thought it might be helpful to start up a list of people who would like to avail themselves of MACUK Computers’ services whilst still maintaining the “social distancing” currently required.
I can offer you the following services which will be handled in order of booking-date priority.
If you have an ongoing hardware problem, I am happy to inspect the item at the office, providing you have taken a recent backup of your data and you are prepared to leave it for inspection. The system will be wiped down with anti-bacterial cloths and will be handled in a suitably Covid-19 aware manner. Costs will be based on individual circumstances and will be agreed before any work ensues.
If it is a software problem, with your permission, your system can be accessed remotely and the costs will be timed per hour. Obviously it is wise to backup your system no matter how your computer is accessed!
Telephone support is still available, however the normal charges will be re-applied from Monday 6th July.
